Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2013 Ford Taurus- Video

Today on our 2013 Ford Taurus, we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1046. Now, I want to mention, we're working with size 235/55R18 on our Taurus today. So here's what our tire chains look like when they're fully installed. The ladder pattern in our chains are gonna give us better traction and help us when we're starting and stopping. Now, we're gonna have this sturdy, steel cable that's gonna be wrapped in these steel rollers, which are gonna give us a nice, smooth ride compared to square links. Now, these are SAE Class S chains, and what that means is they're designed to work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chain Installation - 2013 Ford Taurus- Video

Today on our 2013 Ford Taurus, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chain. Part number TC1046. Now, we're going to be working with size 23555 R18 on our Taurus today. Here's what our chains look like fully installed. Now, there are going to be great, because they're going to give us adequate traction on ice, and great traction in the snow. Now, the ladder pattern here is going to help us out whenever we're starting out and accelerating, or when we're slowing down and coming to a stop. That's a sturdy steel construction cable, and the steel rollers here give us a nice smooth ride compared to squared links. Our chains are SAE class S chains, and what that means is they're designed to work with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. Our chains are rated for 30 miles an hour, and they're great for the occasional use. more

Glacier V-Trac Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 1999 Ford Taurus- Video

All right, today on this 1999 Ford Taurus, we're going to do a test fit of part number PW1930V from Glacier Chains. We'll be working with a tire size today of 205/65/15, and this will work with front or rear wheel drive vehicles. To start off our test fit, we'll go ahead and lay out the snow chain on the ground in the orientation that we would need it to be in. We'll make sure that the hooks are wrapped up away from the tire tread. Let's go ahead and place them on the tire. We'll go ahead and take the front end of the chain and tuck it underneath the tire as far as we can. more
